A Look Back on 2025 - My First Year as a Virtual Assistant

As the year comes to a close, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on a chapter that has meant more to me than I can put into words.

November 2024 marked the very beginning of my journey as a virtual assistant — an idea that had been quietly growing in my heart for a long time before I finally decided to take the leap and enroll in a VA course.

At the time, I didn’t have everything figured out, but I knew I wanted to build something meaningful, flexible, and aligned with the way I wanted to live and work.

In January 2025, I officially launched my website. Seeing my services, values, and vision come together in one place made everything feel real for the first time. It was a big step outside of my comfort zone, but also a reminder that progress doesn’t come from waiting to feel ready — it comes from starting.

June 2025 brought a milestone I’ll never forget: welcoming my very first client. That moment was incredibly validating and reaffirmed why I started this business in the first place. It showed me that there truly are business owners out there who value support, organization, and having someone in their corner to help make their day-to-day work easier.

As I look ahead to 2026, I’m filled with excitement and possibility. I will continue to support my clients in a way that feels thoughtful, reliable, and genuinely helpful. Thank you to everyone who has followed along, supported me, or trusted me with their business this year. This is just the beginning, and I can’t wait to see where the next year takes us.

Warmly,

Kristin Simpson
